Decision fatigue for the Phillipines

Our take

Planning a trip to the Philippines can feel overwhelming, especially with so many stunning islands to choose from! As a family of four with young children, you’re looking for the perfect beach destination to slow travel and soak up the sun. Your travel dates from August 8th to September 1st coincide with the rainy season, so choosing the right island is crucial. While Palawan is famous for its beauty, it may not be ideal during this time.

Goodness my head is about to explode! Phillipines has been the hardest country to plan a trip. There's so many islands. So much to do. Help!

What we're looking for. We're a family of four (children age 2 and 7).

We're going August 8th- September 1st. Yes, I understand this is the rainy season. Flying into Cebu

But yes, we are looking for one island, one place to stay for three weeks. Yes, we understand this might sound boring to some but we want to slow travel, chill and soak in as much sun and sea as possible. What matters the most is staying right on the beach, we want calm super turquoise fantastic water. Which island is best? We thought Palawan but it apparently is one of the worst during the raining season.

So im open to hearing your experience
