Potentially Silly Question… who do I book with to assess my skin type and suggest best daily skin routine?

I am 36 and am yet to master skincare. I’ve got no real idea about what the best products are for my skin and I’m aware I’m now at an age where I should be trying a bit harder but I don’t know where to start and I’m not sure who to ask. Dermatologists seem to medical but when I google facial consultations it’s mostly people offering chemical peels and more extreme things than I’m willing to try. I just want someone to assess my skin, tell me what type it is because I’ve never been sure (combination/oily/whatever), and then tell me what products might work best for me for a manageable daily skincare routine, I.e retinol moisturiser, collagen etc… what is the professional name of the person I’m looking for?? Would a beautician know??

I’ve moisturised my face since I was 15, and been pretty good with SPF, but only occasionally use a cleanser (Emma Hardie) and a toner (Ren) but I don’t really know what else to use, and I have sensitive skin that can react to random products so I don’t want to spend lots of money on things I later discover I’m allergic to. Any advice would be great!
