Is there a way to search for values across sheets?

I have digitized ~100 years of balance sheets and now I have a huge file with each year the revenues and expenditure (expressed in a non decimal currency) of the institution I am studying. Each year I have manually saved in a specific sheet the total expenditure (converted in decimal).

I have now been suggested that it might be interesting to study the evolution of revenues flows, which means focusing on the 3 main sources of revenues (the towns where this institution had the most land) and see their size over the century of observation?

In pratice I have a Revenues sheet organized like:

Year Total Expenditure Town 1
1601 Amount 1601 ?
1602 Amount 1601 ?

And I would like to have a formula that searches automatically the name of town 1 in the sheet called 1601 and reports the value of revenues for that town.

Is there a way to build a formula like that?
