Why is Vietnam’s e visa so garbage? My application remains unpaid but I was charged. It’s been a month

Our take

Navigating Vietnam's e-visa process can be frustrating, especially when applications seem to get stuck in limbo. One user shared their experience of being charged for two applications that both showed as unpaid after a month. Despite following the steps outlined on the official e-visa website, issues persist, leaving many in the same boat. If you're facing similar challenges, this guide will help you understand how to properly submit an e-visa application and navigate the refund process for any fees you've already incurred.

I searched reddit and tons of people seem to have issues with it. I submitted two e visa applications. The first one said it was unpaid, i searched what to do and it said I would need to submit another. Neither went through properly. It said payment failed. I was charged for both of them. This was a month ago and they both still say unpaid when I search on the Vietnam e visa website. How do i properly submit a e visa application and how do I get refunded for the 2 i already paid for?

I am using https://evisa.gov.vn
