Wedding Attire Help

Our take

Hey there, fashion adventurers! If you’re diving into the world of wedding attire and faced with a cocktail dress code, you’re in the right place! Our friend is gearing up for a cozy homestead wedding, surrounded by rustic charm. They’re on the hunt for a fabulous maxi dress with short or long sleeves, embracing darker hues like burgundy or navy, while steering clear of any sleeveless options. Let’s help them shine in a stunning, stylish look that fits the vibe!

Wedding Attire Help

I have a wedding to attend, and I was told the dress code is Cocktail Attire. I’ve never been to a wedding nor have I worn a dress/ dressed up in years, so I need some help.

Some background info:

Venue: homestead-y (?) cottage, lots of wood, etc

Bridesmaids colors/colors to avoid: muted merlot (?) and obviously white

What I’m looking for in a dress:

-preferably maxi length, however I’m unsure if that fits dress code

-short sleeves or long sleeve, I also really like draped necklines (absolutely no sleeveless!!)

-darker colors like burgundy or navy

I’ve attached a few pictures of dresses I really like, but I don’t believe they fit the dress code, so if anyone can help me find a dress with a similar vibe that fits Cocktail attire, it would be very much appreciated!
