I stayed in one in Rome and loved it. It was very clean and the nuns were so kind. Breakfast was included. There was a 10 p.m. curfew, but that was fine with me because I was exhausted after dinner from all the sightseeing all day. I think there was a rule though that men could not stay there, unless they were with their family.
