Spent a day in Monsanto, and it’s one of the most uniquely beautiful towns I’ve ever explored! Nestled on a hill just four hours from Lisbon, close to the Spanish border, this super small, sleepy town features houses seamlessly built into, out of, and under massive boulders. I wandered for hours, delighting in the breathtaking sights around every corner. Fun fact: parts of Game of Thrones were filmed here! If you’re seeking adventure and stunning views, Monsanto is a must-visit gem!
 | One of the most uniquely beautiful towns I’ve ever visited. Houses built into/out of/under massive boulders. Super small sleepy town on a hill about 4 hours from Lisbon, close to Spain border.
