Should I go on a last minute trip to the Atacama desert in Chile in a few weeks because I’m stuck in life?

Our take

Are you feeling stuck as you approach your 21st birthday? The Atacama Desert in Chile could be the perfect escape to reignite your spirit! With breathtaking views and the incredible visibility of the Milky Way, this adventure might help you gain perspective on life's challenges. While some may warn against last-minute trips due to economic concerns, prioritizing your mental well-being is essential. Exploring new horizons can spark creativity and joy, providing a much-needed break from overthinking. Embrace the adventure; you deserve it!

For context, I’m turning 21 in a few days and I have been quite depressed lately; the guy I was talking to has completely ghosted me, I was fired from my job last month and uni is not going anywhere. I’m not really sure where I want to go in life and have been pondering my existence a lot. I’m hoping that going on a trip in the next week can at least ease the overthinking and keep my mind away from those thoughts. Everyone says the economy is shit and that it wouldn’t be a good idea but I’m feeling a little majorly stuck in life. Ive got money saved up for god knows what. I’ve been staying at home the last month unable to motivate myself to do anything. What are your thoughts ?

Ps: the Milky Way is super visible in the Atacama desert, I wanted to go there just so I can see how small we are in this universe 🪐
