Recommendations on hotels near LA, Santa Monica, Venice etc

Our take

Hey there, adventure seeker! If you’re wrapping up a work trip in Corona and ready to dive into the vibrant vibes of California, you’re in for a treat! Exploring areas like LA, Santa Monica, and Venice is a fantastic choice, especially with your budget of $150–$250 per night. You’ll want a spot that’s safe, close to the ocean, and walkable to all the fun—think bars, restaurants, and coffee shops. Let’s uncover some epic hotel recommendations that fit your needs and keep the adventure alive!

I’m going on a work trip to Corona, CA. The trip is only for a few days, but once it’s over, I want to explore and spend a couple of days somewhere a little more exciting in California (no offense to Corona lol).

My plan is to Uber from Corona to whichever city I decide to explore. Money is a bit tight, so I’m not trying to go super far or spend an arm and a leg on Ubers lol. That’s why I’m thinking somewhere around LA or Santa Monica would be my best bet. I'm also considering renting a car, but im not 100% sure yet.

Any recommendations on hotels? My budget is $150–$250 a night. I can go a little over if needed!

I’m looking for somewhere safe, ideally near the ocean, and walkable to things like bars, restaurants, and coffee shops. I’m fine Ubering here and there, but being able to walk would definitely help.

Thanks in advance!
