Mexico, April 2026 - in love!

Our take

Just wanted to share my incredible adventure in Mexico! As a South Asian exploring this vibrant country for the first time, I was amazed by the stunning food, rich history, and the warmest people I’ve ever met. From CDMX to Oaxaca, Mérida, and Valladolid, every moment was filled with joy and connection. Highlights included the breathtaking Uxmal, an unforgettable Mezcal tour, and the lively energy of CDMX. The pride in sharing their culture reminded me so much of home in India. Trust me, just go!

Just wanted to share some photos from my first visit to Mexico. As a South Asian, Mexico is so far away, it may as well have been another planet. From where I live in Europe now, it's still a good 12 hours, and my second time crossing the Atlantic.

What a destination! What food, what history, and genuinely some of the nicest people I've ever encountered as a brown woman on all my travels. Everyone was more than willing to meet me halfway on my shitty Duolingo Spanish, and the pride and joy and love in sharing the culture and heritage was something that really reminded me of home in India.

Went to CDMX, Oaxaca, Mérida, and Valladolid.

My personal highlights were Uxmal, a Mezcal tour in Oaxaca, and literally all of CDMX, no notes.

Just go!!
