Itinerary question about going to MIL
Our take
Hey there! It sounds like you have an epic adventure planned for your three days in the Sacred Valley before heading to Machu Picchu! Your itinerary is packed with cultural immersion, stunning hikes, and breathtaking sites. If you're considering a visit to MIL, known for its unique culinary experiences, it could be a fantastic addition. Since Day 1 is reserved for acclimation, you might shuffle activities to fit in MIL comfortably.
I'm spending 3 days in the Sacred Valley before going to Machu Picchu
Day 1
Pachamanca valley and some cultural immersion
Day 2
Huchuy Qosqo, multi hour hiking and tour
Day 3
Moray and Maras
Afternoon train to Aguas Calientes from Ollantaytambo.
I was considering changing something to tour and dine at MIL, which would include Moray and Maras. Day 1 is acclimation time, I can do something different, but won't do fine dining on that day. I do prefer to keep the train transfer, but I'm open to other Scenic options.
I'm wondering if MIL is worth it, and how to shuffle or change this leg of my itinerary.
