Ireland and Scotland or Which?
Our take
Planning an anniversary trip to both Ireland and Scotland sounds like an epic adventure! With a passion for food, history, and stunning scenery, you’re in for a treat. Both destinations offer rich culinary experiences, fascinating historical sites, and breathtaking landscapes that will leave you in awe. A road trip style will allow you to soak up the unique vibes of each place. While it’s definitely possible to visit both in about two weeks, consider your travel pace and preferences.
My partner and I are planning our anniversary trip and we spent 2 weeks in England during our first international trip and now we are wanting to do a combo 2-ish week trip for Scotland and Ireland. We’re big foodies, he loves history, and I love scenery. Is it possible to do both or should we pick one? We always said do both since we’ll be out there anyway and thought might as well and were going to do roadtrip-esque since that’s what we do in the states. If not, which one?
