G-Adventures Male Solo Travel

Our take

Hey fellow adventurers! I'm excited about the idea of joining a solo-ish tour in Colombia with G Adventures, but I have a concern about the gender balance on these trips. I’m curious if anyone has experienced a solo-ish tour where there were fewer than three males in the group. Is there a way to find out the male-to-female ratio before booking? Additionally, if you know of other companies that offer solo tours with a more balanced mix, I’d love to hear your recommendations.

Hi,

I'm interested in doing a Colombia solo-ish tour with G adventures but I get the feeling that the solo-ish tours mostly cater to females - which I'm okay with - but I'd prefer more of a balance so I'm not the only (or one of few) male in the tour group.

Has anyone been on a G solo-ish tour where there were fewer than 3 males on the tour and is there a way of finding out what the M/F balance would be before committing? Also, if there are alternative companies that offer solo tours that are more balanced between M/F, would love to know.

Thanks!
