Looking for the perfect family-friendly beach adventure to celebrate your 40th? Embrace the winter chill by exploring vibrant destinations that offer sun, fun, and unforgettable experiences! With your 8-year-old son in tow, consider spots that feature thrilling water slides, snorkeling, and mellow hiking. While Costa Rica is fantastic, it may require more travel than desired for a 5-6 day trip. Key Largo and Baha Mar in the Bahamas are excellent options, while Bermuda offers beauty but can be pricier.

Looking into a few different options for my 40th. Thinking we will celebrate in the winter when it’s a little more dreary and cold where we live. We love the beach and outdoor activities. We might travel with my 8 year old son. Haven’t decided yet. He loves water slides and we want to take him snorkeling, mellow hiking, etc. I’ve thought about Costa Rica, but think that might be a lot of travel for just 5-6 days with all 3 of us. Key Largo and Baha Mar in the Bahamas have crossed my mind as well as Bermuda, but Bermuda looks a little pricey. Specific resort recommendations would be helpful! We are pretty low key but would love a place that’s clean, relatively chill with easy access to great food. Thank you!
