Been waiting for over 2 days in Air France Messenger/WhatsApp queue

Our take

Hey, everyone! I’m reaching out because I’ve been stuck in the Air France Messenger and WhatsApp queues for over two days, trying to locate one of my two lost bags after a flight to Geneva. It’s been a week since my trip, and I’ve received conflicting information from their baggage team—some of it has even felt misleading. I’m curious if anyone else has faced a similar situation and what steps I can take next. Is this kind of wait normal? Let’s chat!

It looks like Air France has lost one of two bags that were slated to travel with me to Geneva (non-direct with an 8-hour layover in Paris). After more than a week since this flight with conflicting information from their baggage assistance team (they’ve actually flat-out lied to me on more than one occasion) I’ve decided to reach out via other means to get the ball rolling on finding this bag. I’ve been waiting in both the Messenger and WhatsApp queues for over two days with a message on WhatsApp asking if I’d still like to wait. That was from yesterday morning, to which I obviously answered “yes”.

Is this normal? Has anyone ever dealt with a similar situation? What else can I do?
