Albania on US Visa
Our take
Hello, fellow adventurers! If you're navigating the ins and outs of traveling to Albania with a valid US F1 student visa, you’re in the right place! Even though your F1 status has ended and you no longer have a valid SEVIS/I-20, you might still be able to travel visa-free. Albania's website indicates that holding a US residence permit or valid visa qualifies you for entry. However, since you lack a current I-20, it’s wise to consider applying for an e-visa. Let’s explore your options together!
Hello! Idk if this is the right sub for this but I have a valid US f1 student visa (until 2028). However, I don’t have f1 status anymore (no valid Sevis/I-20 - I dropped it when I re-entered the US using my advance parole from my pending AOS/green card application). Can I still use my US f1 visa stamp to travel to Albania? Their website says I can travel there visa free if I hold a residence permit or valid visa to the USA. I don’t have a valid I-20 anymore, so curious to hear if it’s needed or not, or if I should just apply for an e-visa to enter Albania. If this isn’t the right group, please guide me to where I can post this question.
