2 weeks in July: need your help deciding between Mongolia, Madagascar, Russia, Norway, or Armenia/Georgia.

Our take

Hey adventure seekers! This July, I’ll be exploring Istanbul and have about two weeks to dive into an epic getaway. I’m torn between Mongolia, Madagascar, Russia, Norway, and Armenia/Georgia. As a well-traveled nature lover, I’m excited about hut-to-hut hiking in Norway and Armenia/Georgia, spotting unique wildlife in Madagascar, soaking up Mongolia’s summer landscapes, or experiencing the vibrant cities and remote beauty of Russia. I’d love to hear your thoughts or experiences to help me choose the perfect destination! Thank you!

I live in Canada. This July, I'll find myself in Istanbul with ~2 weeks free to travel. I've narrowed potential destinations down to Mongolia, Madagascar, Russia, Norway, or Armenia/Georgia, but am having trouble committing. Looking for any of your thoughts or experiences that could help tip me in one direction or the other.

I'm relatively well-traveled and most enjoy being in nature and spotting animals. I'm drawn to the hut-to-hut or village-to-village hiking in Norway and Armenia/Georgia, the opportunity to see some disappearing animals in Madagascar, the summer weather and landscapes of Mongolia, and the chance to visit a couple world-class cities and remote Siberia in one trip to Russia. Thank you.
